Welcome!

Our aim is to collect information on all South African ancestors and progenitors who arrived at the Cape from 1652 onwards. Our research is based on current research available and will attempt to make use of documentary evidence from sources like the South African National Archives.

While all care is taken to ensure the accuracy of the data added to our website, please note that we cannot always guarantee the accuracy of this data. Unfortunately, in some research guides and studies, mistakes were made in linking family. It is always recommended that all information found on our website is properly researched and confirmed as well.

Our first target for our research will be progenitors or ancestors who arrived at the Cape from 1652-1699. As we progress, we will continue to further years. Please feel free to visit our site often to view progress or updates to our projects.
