MOOC8/42.27a {18200505} 5 May 1820 Petrus Jacobus Maritz H: Somerset A true and perfect inventory of all and every the goods, chattels, wares and merchandize as well moveable as not, debts, credits and other personal effects of the deceased batchelor Petrus Jacobus Maritz Gert's son, who died ab intestato at " Bult Fountain ", Nieuweveld on the 6th day of Nov:r 1825 between the hours of 4 and 5 o'clock a.m. within the field cornetcy of Gert Pet:s Marais, district Beaufort , and given up as follows This done and registered on Friday the 5th of May 1820 at the village of Beaufort according to the statement of Gert Stephanus Maritz father of the deceased, who declares in his above statement of this estate to be done honestly and truly and that nothing has been held back to the best of his judgement and knowledge, and further declares to be always ready (if called upon) to solemnize the same by oath and that he further promises that in the event of any thing further coming to his recollection or knowledge to bind himself to add the same to this inventory.
